What is a phobia?
Phobias are an irrational fear of something or
a situation that most people would not consider
dangerous. Most people can relate to one or another
phobia and understand what is meant when a spider
or another creepy crawly is described as horrible
vile . But cannot comprehend a phobia that
prevents leaving the confines of a house. its
so crippling. All phobias are basically the same.
They have no basis in reason. A phobia is either
a direct or indirect external symbol of an internal
anxiety.
Where do phobias come
from?
A phobia can stem from one ( direct ) or many
( indirect ) causes where emotions attach to memory
of events ( usually childhood ) The anxiety is
projected onto a symbol of the event and the emotion
re-experienced. Almost
all phobias have related phobias: to illustrate
this, think of Emetaphobia ( fear of vomit and
vomiting ). It is the sixth most common phobia
in the U.K. One would think that a bad experience
of illness or sickness has prompted this condition.
One couldn't be more wrong though, as most 'Emets'
as they like to be known also suffer from Agrophobia,Claustrophobia,
Microphobia ( fear of germs), Phagophobia (fear
of eating), Pnigophobia (fear of gagging and choking),
and many others.
These conditions can lead to Obsessional disorders,
Irritable bowel syndrome, Insomnia, social anxiety,
and depression. So although their probably was
a nasty experience with sickness, it is as a result
of something deeply buried in the subconscious
that has caused the experience to evolve into
a phobia, all of the symptoms are symbolic of the
original event that caused emotion to be bottled
away in the subconcius mind.
There are absolutely thousands of phobias, here
are some of the more common
ones
Arachnophobia - spiders
Aviatophobia - flying
Hydrophobia - water
Acrophobia - heights
Claustrophobia - enclosed spaces
Agoraphobia - open spaces
Emetophobia - fear of being sick
Scopophobia - social anxiety

The most successful treatment for any phobia,
is Pure- Hypnoanalysis (analytical hypnotherapy)This
involves a short course of between six to eight
hourly sessions, that will find and resolve the
CAUSE of the phobia - so it is gone and gone for
good!
Analytical therapy (
Pure Hypnoanalysis )
Hypno-analysis, a very special type of hypnotherapy, is one of the best methods in the world for treating emotional, psychological or anxiety-related problems. IAPH hypnotherapists specialise in a 'pure' type of hypno-analysis which is not taught nor practiced anywhere else in the world. It is unique and a uniquely successful therapy which allows the client to resolve the very root cause of their problem, helping them to change their lives signifcantly in a short space of time.
Analytical therapy is used to discover the sensitizing
event ( the cause ) of psychological problems. This is simply an emotional conflict from childhood. PURE HYPNOANALYSIS will allow a flow of memories, to guide you to a conflict that in childhood was simply locked away .
PURE HYPNOANALYSIS will allow the emotional content release. The emotion once released will take with it its many direct and indirect symptoms.
The conflict can then be viewed as an adult and placed in proper perspective, ensuring the anxiety, and the symptoms cannot return.
Rest assured, if you come and see me, Danny Nuttall, at the Bath and West Hypnotherapy Clinic, I will use all my clinical skills and experience in order to help you resolve your problem as quickly as possible
