Hypnotherapy
explained
What
is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is the use of hypnosis - a light
state of relaxation - combined with other therapeutic
techniques (e.g. suggestive or analytical therapy)
for the treatment of many anxiety or stress related
disorders, symptoms
and conditions.
Most hypnotherapists practise a mixture of different
therapies, including some analytical work, but
predominately suggestion therapy mixed with a
smidgeon of N.L.P. ( neuro linguistic programming
. IAH Members however, practice a totally unique
form of analytical hypnotherapy, that we believe
is Faster, more Effective and more Empowering,
than any other therapy available today. We call
this therapy 'Pure Hypnoanalysis'.
Types of hypnotherapy
available at the Bath and West Hypnotherapy Clinic
Clinical Hypnotherapy
Suggestion Therapy is basicly planting a positive
suggestion into the subconscious mind to counter
the symptoms of negative conditioning I.E. „You
will feel totally confident when you are engaged
in public speaking„. This type of therapy is hugely
successful at removing symptoms like blushing,
shyness, phobias, smoking, low self esteem. The
list is endless. However as these problems are
symptoms of what is known as 'free floating anxiety'
another symptom will soon replace it. Suggestion
therapy will remove the symptom , but won't remove
the cause and is therefore only really suited
as an excellent quick fix, short term remedy ,
for example if a client has to get a flight as
an emergency and has a fear of flying , or exam
nerves.
Suggestion therapy also forms part of
Easy Smoking Cessation.
Analytical
therapy ( Pure Hypnoanalysis )
Hypno-analysis, a very special type of hypnotherapy,
is one of the best methods in the world for treating
emotional, psychological or anxiety-related problems.
IAH hypnotherapists specialise in a 'pure' type
of hypno-analysis which is not taught nor practiced
anywhere else in the world. It is a uniquely successful
therapy which allows the client to resolve the
very root cause of their problem, helping them
to change their lives signifcantly in a short
space of time.
Analytical therapy is used to discover the sensitizing
event ( the cause ) of psychological problems.
The critical factor in a child is developed by
eleven. Before that the child interprets information
literally. When the child experiences emotional
trauma outside of their everyday growing pains
the psyche either disavows it and its put in denial,
or it is swept away into a secret place .PURE
HYPNOANALYSIS will allow the emotional content
release. The emotion once released will take with
it its many direct and indirect symptoms. The
sensitizing event can then be viewed as an adult,
and placed in proper perspective.
The entire Analysis normally takes between eight
and twelve sessions, lasting approximately one
hour per session. Hypnoanalysis will find and
release the cause of the problem - and hence the
symptoms disappear. Emotional problems respond
particularly well to Hypnoanalysis. The object
of analysis is to bring you to a 'moment of surprising
and liberating enlightenment', a complete and
lasting release, by finding and removing the originating
causes - as opposed to mere control of symptoms
by; dieting, anti-depressants, herbal remedies,
smoking, drinking etc.
